I am hearing from many about the feelings of chaos, fear, unexpected pains or aches, shifts in businesses and personal lives and heightened senses. With the intensity of the solar flares and the abundant fullness of the moon along with the lunar eclipse we also have 12-12-12 coming next week. The energy within us as well as the energy of the Earth and the Universe at large seems to be fluctuating – so intense at times it seems to affect our lives in many ways.
Fortunately, there are actions we can take to determine how to direct the flow of this energy. Coming into alignment with our Higher Self may be one of the actions which brings peace to the physical, mental and spiritual changes we are adjusting to in a period of time known as The Shift. The practices of centering, grounding and protecting may be old clichés however, they are actions which help us to focus on what is happening, understanding our bodys signals and finding out how to bring relief.
Through all these feelings and chaotic experiences there are lessons for us which means growth. This is also a wonderful time for practicing and manifesting your desires. With the heightened energy and, as we relieve the symptoms mentioned above, there will be great inner joy which sets the stage for realizing our deepest desires.
I want to help you! That is why I offer the classes and services I offer. You are welcome to call me and talk to me. You will begin to feel better with actions and tips you can learn quickly and easily.
Chakras: Colors, Clearing and Balancing: Helps raise your energy
What leads people to their spiritual path? I often think of the synchronicity which took place in my life that completely changed my course. My Sister-in-law talked to me about Reiki. At the time I thought it was all “voo-doo” stuff and I had no interest in it. Then I began to see a massage therapist and even though I loved the benefits of massage I began to get sensitive when she touched me. Fibromyalgia was one of my physical challenges and just the mere touch from others was irritating and uncomfortable. When I explained this to her, my massage therapist suggested I allow her to do Reiki with me. Although I felt cautious because of my Catholic background I allowed her to do a session. I was amazed that I could feel waves of energy and then I knew there had to be something to this Reiki stuff.
I went on to become a Reiki Master. I recognized myself as an Empath and because I could feel so strongly I was able to help others. I practiced Reiki at a local Farmer’s Market where someone asked me if I ever considered doing Spiritual Counseling. I returned to schooling and brought Spiritual Counseling into my Reiki Sessions. I returned for more schooling to learn about energy. As my training and skills expanded I became interested in opening a Wellness Center. I had a great desire to help others who, like myself, were looking for that “something more” in life. I opened my Lightworkers Gifts and Energy Healing Center. In the ten years I have walked my path I have learned much about many modalities in the metaphysical community. More than that, I have learned about myself – who I am and how I can help others. It is almost as though I am paying forward the guidance and love that several others offered to me as I began this journey.
I often hear others tell how they too feel as though synchronicity played a role when they were yearning for something unknown in their life. The stories are filled with enlightenment, self knowing, new talents, greater creativity and a desire to help others as they were helped. These stories are also often filled with joy, laughter and deep appreciation.
So how to get started? From what I observe and hear, people are still asking the age old question, “Who am I and why am I here?” When we begin to search, and because we have asked the question, our Higher Self, our God/Goddess or Spirit guides us to an amazing journey. In my opinion we are always on our path. When we resonate with others who are asking the same question, when we allow enlightenment and begin to have fun with this eye opening experience, our path appears before us! Have you been feeling like you are “coming and going” at the same time! I have some what.. Decision making seems to take longer. Could it be because Mercury and Uranus are retrograde at the same time? It may not be a time to begin a new venture according to one while the other promotes creativity and expressing yourself. The energy might feel confusing.
Have you heard about this retrograde thing? Retrograde happens when a planet appears to be moving in a direction opposite to the direction it actually moves when using the Earth as a point of reference. Planets are never actually retrograde or stationary; they just seem that way because we are observing their rotation from the Earth. There are three phases of retrograde:
Pre retrograde shadow: The period just before retrograde begins; the planet is going in its usual “Direct” pattern
Retrograde: The period where the planet appears to be in a backward motion
Post retrograde shadow: The period where the planet has turned again and is going in its usual “Direct” pattern.
I am taking lots of time to breathe. I am also grounding myself before I make decisions. I focus on going with the flow of life knowing all is as it should be. I also understand that the New Moon is a time to recharge, refocus and create new beginnings. I just love this gathering at my home!
Are you feeling the chaotic energy? Are you feeling out of alignment, out of sorts? With three eclipses one after another, the alignment of the planets, solar flares and the poles shifting, I feel it too. It seems like I’m helping more and more people understand the wisdom in spending more time centering and creating balance in the winds of change. I’m finding that teaching peace and finding more peace within myself is one of the keys.
With all the changes this is an intense time. It is our time to grow and come into our power. Connect to who you are and build a stronger foundation based on self trust. Creating and maintaining a strong connection with our selves will build confidence as we all step into the unknown. I feel it is then that we will experience these changes and growth with love and joy.
When we open more fully to all the shifting of the energies, the frequencies, or vibrations which are moving around and through us, you will see the awesomeness of you. I am open to receiving the gifts of the Universe/God. So I encourage you to embrace the greatness within you and SHINE ON!
When I was a little girl Mama was full of joy and very energetic. I remember feeling as though life was a dream. As I began to mature I still saw Mama with that same joy. As I began to create my own life my actions and behaviors weren’t always accepted by Mom, but there was always Mama’s love.
We all look for our Mother’s acceptance. The love is always a constant, but sometimes the approval isn’t there. In my relationship with Mom I knew I was loved. But our relationship at times grew strained. I used to think, “If you’re not able to approve of my life we probably won’t be close.”
Then, through self acceptance and creating boundaries, I was able to open up to my Mama. By communicating with love we began to look at our relationship as two adults instead of Mother and child, and now we respect and honor each other. Our love has grown and deepened over the years.
Our depth of love was born from acceptance and communicating in a loving way. My Mama is so amazing! During this process she changed too! Mama became completely accepting of who I am! Happy Mother’s Day Mama – I love you!
We are all Mothers to all children around the world!
Happy Mother’s Day to ALL!
Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is a form of therapy where the practitioner channels the intention to improve the flow of life energy. It is a hands-on, no-touch, visualizing technique where the recipient remains fully clothed and relaxes while laying down or comfortably seated.
Reiki may reduce stress, ease pain, eliminate toxins, releases suppressed feelings, strengthens the immune system, balance the spirit and chakras, amplify natural abilities and creativity, and trigger wellness. Feelings of overall well-being, peace and renewed life joy may also be experienced. Reiki is also often used as a compliment to medical treatments, adapting sessions to the needs of the receiver. It is not a religious belief so the benefits can be enjoyed by anyone.
As an Inspiration Coach and Reiki Master, I can help, or teach you, a powerful way to create positive life change combining Reiki with coaching. Join my Introduction to Reiki on Sunday, April 29, 2012.
April 22 is Earth Day, celebrating the 42nd anniversary of what many consider the birth of the modern environmental movement. In 1970 Senator Gaylord Nelson of Wisconsin started a movement which channeled the energy of the anti-war protests and capitalized on the emerging consciousness for environmental concerns. The result was 20 million Americans took to the streets, parks, and auditoriums to demonstrate for a healthy, sustainable environment in massive coast-to-coast rallies.
This year, more than one billion people in 192 countries around the globe, will participate in Earth Day 2012. People of all nationalities and backgrounds will share their appreciation for the planet and demand its protection. Together they will stand united for a sustainable future and call upon individuals, organizations, and governments to do their part.
There are many ways to participate from organizing environmental fundraisers, to planting a tree, to taking care to use less water and paying extra attention to how many lights are left on.
Each of us has Spirit Guides, and your Guide may be a person or an animal. As the situations in your life change, you may attract new guides to help you. Your Spirit Guides can help you with every aspect of your life, all you have to do is ASK! If you can think of a question, your Spirit Guides will give you an answer. Here are some tips for connecting with your Spirit Guides:
Find a quiet, comfortable place where you will not be disturbed. Stretch, relax, and breathe to relax and release any accumulated tension or stress. Do this for at least three minutes, or as much as necessary to achieve a state of relaxation.
Set your spiritual intent to contact your spirit guide, and open up your awareness to their presence. You may see them, feel their presence, hear them communicating, or somehow just know they are there. Say “hello” and allow yourself to receive a “hello” back.
Relax, breathe and just be in their presence. Without speaking, ask your spirit guide if they have a message for you. If you have a question, remember to be very clear and focused on whatever situation you want help with. Be still and allow yourself to receive their spiritual communication. Just be…and listen.
When you end your connection, always give thanks to your Spirit Guide with a sense of gratitude for their help.
Have faith in knowing that if you ask for guidance, or for a sign, it will always be given. But you must be open to receiving the message in any form. Remember that your Spirit Guides are always around you ready to help, but they cannot and will not interfere with your life. Youmust first invite them in, ask for their guidance and they will be happy to help you in any way they can.
Connecting with your Spirit Guides begins a wonderful relationship that will last your entire life. So if you haven’t yet met, now might be an excellent time to introduce yourself! Imagine creating a world of positive Karma! Karma is the integrated collection of negative and positive behaviors and actions which a person accumulates during their present and former lives. Hindus, Buddhists and some others believe that the amount and type of karma will determine a person’s state in this life or when they are reincarnated in their next life.
Do you believe in Karma and how do you understand it? If you don’t believe in Karma, what is your belief in regards to being accountable for your actions and behaviors?
Viewpoint 1: I do not believe in Karma. I believe in a Divine source which originates from love and I am experiencing human life to align with that love. I do not believe my Divine source would send me back to Earth to pay for behaviors in past lives. Karma brings up the question of polarities. Depending on the culture, what one culture sees as unlawful, evil or bad may be the opposite in another culture. Is Karma based on previous life laws or current laws? Who judges?
Viewpoint 2: I believe in Karma because I think it. I create it in my mind so it is my reality. I practice living a positive life of love to avoid negative Karma.
My point of view is that we are creating Karma all the time – it is the Law of Attraction. However, I do not put energy into the belief of Karma. I stay in a state of joy and bliss.
Grounding is very powerful. It is the action of consciously creating an energy connection from the human body to Mother Earth. Everything is made of energy. When energized, your frequency increases. When grounding your body, the Earth acts as an electricalground. Just like the third prong on an electrical cord, the Earth absorbs excess energy.
Have you ever felt dizzy, slightly nauseous or “spacey” during or after some activities? This may be your body telling you there is an excess of energy. You have the ability to release this excess by grounding. To avoid this build up it may be very wise to ground before energetic activities. Grounding may increase spiritual awareness. As you ground, your mind clears and becomes focused. You may feel more fully in the present with greater awareness of your surroundings. Grounding may also enhance whatever you are experiencing.
It may also do wonders for activities such as exercise, special time with a friend or even at work.
For me, I found the most effective way to ground myself is to visualize roots growing from the base of my feet and sinking down to the Earth’s core. For a full description of this, watch my video! Other suggestions are:
Eating something healthy
Walking, especially in natural surroundings
Practicing Tai Chi
Carrying or wearing gemstones, especially Snowflake Obsidian
There are many other ways to ground yourself. You may want to try different methods and stick with the one that works best. Bring grounding into the different aspects of your life and notice the difference it makes. You may need to ground several times during the day, depending on your energy level and the activities you are taking part in.
