12-12-12: Time for Action

I am hearing from many about the feelings of chaos, fear, unexpected pains or aches, shifts in businesses and personal lives and heightened senses.  With the intensity of the solar flares and the abundant fullness of the moon along with the lunar eclipse we also have 12-12-12  coming next week.  The energy within us as well as the energy of the Earth and the Universe at large seems to be fluctuating – so intense at times it seems to affect our lives in many ways.

Fortunately, there are actions we can take to determine how to direct the flow of this energy. Coming into alignment with our Higher Self may be one of the actions which brings peace to the physical, mental and spiritual changes we are adjusting to in a period of time known as The Shift.  The practices of centering, grounding and protecting may be old clichés however, they are actions which help us to focus on what is happening, understanding our bodys signals and finding out how to bring relief.

Through all these feelings and chaotic experiences there are lessons for us which means growth. This is also a wonderful time for practicing and manifesting your desires. With the heightened energy and, as we relieve the symptoms mentioned above, there will be great inner joy which sets the stage for realizing our deepest desires.

Joy & Reiki…Want Some?

Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is a form of therapy where the practitioner channels the intention to improve the flow of life energy. It is a hands-on, no-touch, visualizing technique where the recipient remains fully clothed and relaxes while laying down or comfortably seated.

Reiki may reduce stress, ease pain, eliminate toxins, releases suppressed feelings, strengthens the immune system, balance the spirit and chakras, amplify natural abilities and creativity, and trigger wellness. Connecting to Your Spirit Guides

Shine On!Each of us has Spirit Guides, and your Guide may be a person or an animal. As the situations in your life change, you may attract new guides to help you. Your Spirit Guides can help you with every aspect of your life, all you have to do is ASK! If you can think of a question, your Spirit Guides will give you an answer. Here are some tips for connecting with your Spirit Guides:

  • Find a quiet, comfortable place where you will not be disturbed. Stretch, relax, and breathe to relax and release any accumulated tension or stress.  Do this for at least three minutes, or as much as necessary to achieve a state of relaxation.
  • Set your spiritual intent to contact your spirit guide, and open up your awareness to their presence. You may see them, feel their presence, hear them communicating, or somehow just know they are there. Say “hello” and allow yourself to receive a “hello” back.
  • Relax, breathe and just be in their presence. Without speaking, ask your spirit guide if they have a message for you. If you have a question, remember to be very clear and focused on whatever situation you want help with. Be still and allow yourself to receive their spiritual communication. Just be…and listen.
  • When you end your connection, always give thanks to your Spirit Guide with a sense of gratitude for their help.

Have faith in knowing that if you ask for guidance,  or for a sign, it will always be given. But you must be open to receiving the message in any form. Remember that your Spirit Guides are always around you ready to help, but they cannot and will not interfere with your life. You must first invite them in, ask for their guidance and they will be happy to help you in any way they can.

Imagine creating a world of positive Karma! Karma is the integrated collection of negative and positive behaviors and actions which a person accumulates during their present and former lives. Hindus, Buddhists and some others believe that the amount and type of karma will determine a person’s state in this life or when they are reincarnated in their next life.

Do you believe in Karma and how do you understand it? If you don’t believe in Karma, what is your belief in regards to being accountable for your actions and behaviors?

Viewpoint 1: I do not believe in Karma. I believe in a Divine source which originates from love and I am experiencing human life to align with that love. I do not believe my Divine source would send me back to Earth to pay for behaviors in past lives. Karma brings up the question of polarities. Depending on the culture, what one culture sees as unlawful, evil or bad may be the opposite in another culture. Is Karma based on previous life laws or current laws? Who judges?

Viewpoint 2: I believe in Karma because I think it. I create it in my mind so it is my reality. I practice living a positive life of love to avoid negative Karma.

My point of view is that we are creating Karma all the time – it is the Law of Attraction. However, I do not put energy into the belief of Karma. I stay in a state of joy and bliss.

The power of love is legendary, built into folklore, history, common sense and daily experiences. There are many types of love. Some examples:

The beneficial effects of love take place on all levels and dimensions:

Hundreds of research studies confirm that negative emotions have negative impact to our health. It also confirms that positive emotions, such as love, may heal us and benefit us the same way exercise and a healthy diet do. Because of all the health benefits, love may actually extend our lives. Research also shows a connection between improved health and spirituality; a higher love or self-love. No matter what path we take, the search for life’s meaning boosts the immune system and lowers risk of disease.

The more we extend our connectedness and practice love the greater our impact to everything around us. When thoughts and actions come from a place of asking for your highest good and the greatest good of all, you are acting from a place of love. You become love in action!

Allowing your energy to tune in to the light of love you begin to resonate in harmony with your “All That Is”. Emotions with lower frequencies transform and begin to vibrate at the frequency of love. You radiate love, giving it freely and benefiting all around you. You become a beacon of love, peace, harmony and hope.  You discover the more you increase your love and radiate it out, the more you can receive.

Meditate and focus on your heart chakra. Focus on love and feel it increase in-depth and strength. You may find yourself relaxing, becoming calmer. Begin with self-love and caring. See love in others and send them your love. The more you practice being open to love and filling your Being with love, the stronger this vibration will become and the more it will grow. YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF LOVE!

Grounding & Video!

Shine On!

Grounding is very powerful. It is the action of consciously creating an energy connection from the human body to Mother Earth. Everything is made of energy. When energized, your frequency increases. When grounding your body, the Earth acts as an electrical ground. Just like the third prong on an electrical cord, the Earth absorbs excess energy.

Have you ever felt dizzy, slightly nauseous or “spacey” during or after some activities? This may be your body telling you there is an excess of energy. You have the ability to release this excess by grounding. To avoid this build up it may be very wise to ground before energetic activities. Grounding may increase spiritual awareness. As you ground, your mind clears and becomes focused. You may feel more fully in the present with greater awareness of your surroundings. Grounding may also enhance whatever you are experiencing.

A few examples are:

  • a Full Moon ceremony,
  • an energy healing session,
  • Tai Chi or
  • meditation

It may also do wonders for activities such as exercise, special time with a friend or even at work.

For me, I found the most effective way to ground myself is to visualize roots growing from the base of my feet and sinking down to the Earth’s core. For a full description of this, watch my video! Other suggestions are:

  • Eating something healthy
  • Walking, especially in natural surroundings
  • Practicing Tai Chi
  • Carrying or wearing gemstones, especially Snowflake Obsidian

There are many other ways to ground yourself.  You may want to try different methods and stick with the one that works best. Bring grounding into the different aspects of your life and notice the difference it makes. You may need to ground several times during the day, depending on your energy level and the activities you are taking part in.
